Christina Derry

Christina Lynne Derry age 60 of Rogers Township passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2025.

She was born in Onaway to Richard and Sally (Nerring) Gibelyou on March 3, 1965.

Christina graduated from Alpena High School. She enjoyed snowmobiling, Jeeping, and going to the drag races with Ed, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is survived by her fiance’, Ed Sorget; two children, Lucien (Jacy) DeRoque and April (James) Waeiss; five step-children; Denise (Timothy) Kirkpatrick, Christina (Travis) Schultz, Bobbie (Jody) Serum, AJ Sorget and Michelle Sorget; five grandchildren, Jaide, Evelyn, Millie, Paisley and Jackson; three brothers, Perry (Marie Mulka) Perrou, Andy Gibelyou and Kevin Gibelyou.

Christina was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Gibelyou.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19th from 1:00 p.m. through time of her memorial service at 2:00 p.m.

Inurnment will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
