Elaine Lyons

Elaine Doris Lyons age 86 of Cheboygan passed away at Harmony House on November 5, 2025 while surrounded by her family.

She was born in Detroit on March 23, 1939 to Henry and Marion (Frankford) Grabenstein.

Elaine graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit. On March 12, 1988 she married Jon Lyons at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Cheboygan. She enjoyed camping, boating and crafting, including stamp art and making greeting cards of all types. Elaine was a kind and generous soul who was always supportive and willing to help. She was a very artistic person with many diverse creative interests. Elaine was truly loved by everyone.

She is survived by her husband, Jon; three children, Donna O’Neil, Linda (Rick) Barton and Patrick (Cheri) Kondratko; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and three stepchildren, Linda (George) Cardona, Perry (MaryLee) Lyons and Susan (James) LeJuene.

Elaine was preceded in death by a son, Mark Kondratko.

Friends may visit at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Cheboygan on Saturday, November 8th from 10 a.m. through time of her memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dave Hueter officiating.

A luncheon will follow.
