Joseph Henry “Unk” Schefke age 79 of Rogers City
Passed away September 13, 2016 at Mid Michigan
Medical Center,

He was born October 27, 1936 in Rogers City
to Robert and Victoria (Durecki) Schefke.

Joe is survived by:
his sister, Elizabeth (Robert) Kowalski of Rogers City;
nieces and nephews, Joseph (Cheryl) Kowalski, Suzanne Luetzow,
Kasia (Bill) Haire, Vicky (Karl) Kowalewsky,
Bernard (Dana) Kowalski, Sherry (Charlie) Schleben,
Mary (Steve) Vekaryasz and Sally (Kevin) Kapala;
godchild, Heather (Kyle) Oberstadt;
many great nieces and nephews, and
his faithful companion, Bud-Bud.

He was preceded in death by;
parents, Robert and Victoria;
brothers, Albert, Donald, and Bernard.

He enjoyed spending time on the water fishing with family and friends,
His family meant the world to him. Unk perfected the silent departure.

Friends may visit at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Friday from
10:00 a.m. through time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with
Fr. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt, Calvary Catholic Cemetery,

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
St. Ignatius Catholic School,
