LaVerne Edna Wenzel age 64 of Belknap Township
passed away January 4, 2012 at Tendercare – Alpena

LaVerne was born December 19, 1947 in Flint
to Walter and Beatrice (Krey) Brege

She enjoyed arts and crafts and helping others.

LaVerne is survived by:
4 sons, Todd of Mt. Clemens, Brian (Ashley) of Rogers City, Darrin of Wyoming,
and Jason of Rogers City;
3 grandchildren, Kaila, Dustin, and Jase;
6 siblings, Marlene (Dave) Henry, Darrol, Janice, Lynn, Kenneth (Denise), and
Jeffery (Michelle) Brege.

She was preceded in death by:
her parents, Walter and Beatrice; and
brother, Wayne

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Sunday at

St. Michael Lutheran Church from 1:00 p.m. through time of funeral at 2:00 p.m.
with Pastor Paul Hopkins officiating.

Burial will take place at St. Michael Lutheran Cemetery.
