Lawrence Ortwine

Lawrence Richard Ortwine age 75 of Grand Lake passed away at home on November 9, 2025.

He was born in Detroit on August 25, 1950 to Clarence and Viola (Irwin) Ortwine.

Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired as a Firefighter from Commerce Township. He was a passionate woodworker who enjoyed spending time in his workshop making treasured items for family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia; three children, Jeffery (Jennifer) Ortwine, Michelle Altemara and Annette (Todd) Burt; five grandchildren; and a step-daughter, Sandy Scott.

Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Baldwin.
