Robert Leszinske

Robert A. Leszinske, age 84 of Rogers City,
passed away January 26, 2013 at home.

He was born December 22, 1928 in Rogers City
to Adolph and Louise (Glazier) Leszinske.

Bob graduated from Rogers City High School in 1948 then served in the United States
Army from 1950 through 1952. On November 6, 1954 he married Shirley Winfield in
Rogers City. Mr. Leszinske sailed on the Great Lakes for several years prior to his
employment at Stoneport. He retired from there in 1991, Robert enjoyed his vegetable
garden and watching the Huron’s play football. A close second and third would be
watching the MSU Spartan’s and Detroit Lions, respectively.

Bob is survived by:
his wife, Shirley;
3 children, Sandra Leszinske of Rogers City, John (Peg) Leszinske of Rogers City,
and Barbara (Richard) Friedich of Fowlerville;
4 grandchildren, Tiffany (fiancé’ Justin Rich) Friedrich, Sara (Rachel) Leszinske,
Felicity (Jeremy) Wolfrom, and John (Natasha Lutz) Zakshesky;
twin sister, Patricia Adrian of Alpena,
brother, Jerry Leszinske of Troy Ohio;
sister, Sally Doran of Saginaw.

He was preceded in death by:
3 brothers, Paul, Bill, and Tom;
1 sister, Dorothy Pardike.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Monday, January 28th from 10:00 a.m.
through time of his memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. William Mott officiating.
Rogers City VFW will offer a military tribute following services.
Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Leszinske family for a charity to be decided on later.
