Terry Schefke

Tery Royden Schefke age 67 of Jarrell, Texas, formerly of Rogrs City, passed away July 17, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

Terry was born October 11, 1955 in Rogers City to Royden and Marceline (Kuebler) Schefke.

He was a 1973 graduate of Rogers City High school. He served in the United States Army from 1974 through 1979 when he was honorably discharged as a Sergeant. On June 21, 1986 he married Cynthia Ann Desmond.

Terry had a lenthy career in the automotive parts and service industry including Chrysler Corporation and several RV dealerships in Texas.

He was a Christian who was always eager to help others with any task. Terry had a great wit and could always make people laugh.

Terry is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his mother, Marce Schefke; two children, Cory of Michigan and Trina (Joe) Picciurro; seven grandchilden, Franco, Joey, Migueli, Carlo, Sal, Giuliana and Gianna all of Florida; he also leaves behind  a sister, Sherri (Vic) Kuhlman and their children, Vicki and Chris;  a brother, Alan (Debie) Schefke and their children, Andrew and Shelby; and his other sister, Marci (Don) Dehring and their children, Ashley and D.J.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roden Schefke in July of 2022.

A memorial service will take place at 12-Noon on Monday, August 7th at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Jarrell, Texas.
