Karl Augsburger

Karl Jay Augsburger age 65 of Rogers City passed away at home on April 21, 2026.

He was born July 1, 1960 in Rogers City to Fred and Juliana (Wyant) Augsburger.

Karl graduated from Rogers City High School in 1978. He worked construction for many years then became a CNA and retired after 10 years of caring for others. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping and sitting around the campfire with his family.

He is survived by four children, Teyla (Justin) Hogan, Andrew (Fiacnée, Misty) Augsburger, Adam (Carrie) Augsburger and Luke (fiancée, Danielle Haske) Augsburger; six grandchildren, Lily, Onna-May, Asher, Arebella, Denton and Freya; and two brothers, Paul (Carol) Augsburger and Wayne (Cora) Augsburger.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Juliana.

A celebration of life will take place this summer. The date will be announced.
