Norman Pieczynski

Norman Frank Pieczynski age 87 of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2026.

He was born October 10, 1938 in Posen to Joseph and Adeline (Krawczak) Pieczynski.

Norm was a 1957 graduate of Posen High School. He worked for General Telephone before serving in the United States Army from 1961 through 1964. When he returned home he went to work for GTE and retired at the age of 46. Following his retirement, he started General Rental Center in Durham, North Carolina then retired and moved back to Michigan in 2019. Norm enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by three sons, Mike (Linda), Jeff (Carol) and Brian; one grandson, Tom; three granddaughters, Stacy, Megan and Amber (Brian) and two great grandsons; and five siblings, Marvin, Lorraine (Alfonse) Orban, Shirley Lynn, Adelore (Beverly) and Gary (Lori).

Norm was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and daughter-in-law, Loretta.

A memorial Mass will be scheduled for the end of August. The Beck Funeral Home will announce the date when it is.
