Frank Frank Kandal Sr., a courageous and adventurous soul passed away in Flint on September 23, 2023.
He was born June 23, 1944 in Belknap Township. He was a man full of life who had a love for the great outdoors.
Anthony, known by his close ones as a handy and brave individual, had a zest for life that was infectious. He spent many years at General Motors earning respect and admiration from his colleagues for his dedication and commitment before his retirement.
Anthony had a profound love for the outdoors. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished the times he spent hunting and exploring nature. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for such activities, which he often shared with his family and friends. His stories of his outdoor adventures were a testament to his bravery and passion for life.
Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony Kandal Jr. and Kim (Marcelo) Ulrich; his siblings, Norman, Leo (Kathy), Archie, Clarence and Steven (Sue); and his beloved granddaughter, Jenna.
He was preceded in death a brother a Cashmer; his parents, Ted and Helen; and his son-in-law, David.
A graveside service will take place at St. Dominic Catholic Cemetery on Friday, September 13th at 2 p.m.
A luncheon will follow at 4 p.m. at The Lighthouse Restaurant in Rogers City.
