Allen Egenriether

Allen Lee Egenriether age 68 of Cathro passed away September 14, 2019.

He was born September 7, 1951 in Alpena to Edwin and Bernice “Mae” (Haken) Egenriether.

On June 3, 1989 he married Ann Darga Schaudt in Alpena. Al was a member of Cathro Baptist Church.

Allen is survived four children, Crystal Egenriether of NC, Justin (Mary Szatkowski) Egenriether of WA, Kari (Nathan) Benton of Alpena, and Katherine (Greg Stone) Brown of Black River; daughter-in-law, Jessica Darga of Flint; 12 grandchildren, Donavan Cummings, Charity Nolff, Ryan Darga, Dylan Valentine, Samantha Darga, Amber Darga, Skylar Darga, Mark Benton, Elizabeth Benton, David Benton, Mary Benton, and James Benton; a great granddaughter, Kinsley Darga; and her brother, Edward (Fiancée, Shannon Keeler) Darga; mother, Mae Kasubowski of Bolton; brothers, Doug Kasubowski and Dave (Kathy) Egenriether.

He was preceded in death by; wife, Ann; father, Edwin; brother, Karl Egenriether; and stepson, Nick Darga.

Friends may visit at Cathro Baptist Church on Friday, September 27^th from 4-8 pm. Visitation will continue at church on Saturday, from 10 am until time of funeral at 11 am with Pastor Paul Frey officiating.

Interment will follow at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in Allen’s memory to Cathro Baptist Church or Hospice of Michigan.
