Althea Kuchinski

Althea Mae Kuchinski age 86 of Grand Lake

left this world to be at peace with her heavenly Father
on Monday, April 16, 2018 at home surrounded by
her loving family.

She was born on February 14, 1932 in Rogers City
to Harold and Velma (Paradise) Pollock.

She married the love of her life, Sylvester Kuchinski on June 2, 1951.
Together they raised a family of seven children who loved her dearly,
Together, Althea and Sylvester built a home on the shores of Grand Lake.
Here Althea’s priorities were her husband and family, It is here that she
leaves behind many happy memories that will forever be in our hearts,
Althea always cared more for others than herself. She was a brave and

courageous woman whose strength will forever be a part of who we are
as a family.

She is survived by:
her husband, Sylvester;
daughters, Katharine McVeety of Alpena, Kristine (Jim) Penn of Jackson,
Susan Byelich of Mio, Lori (Fred) Lewandowski
of Rogers City;
two sons, Robert of Rogers City and Joseph (Theresa) of Rogers City;
son-in-law, Joe Kaszubowski of Presque Isle.

Althea will be sadly missed by her children, nineteen grandchildren and
eighteen great-grandchildren,

She was preceded by her beloved daughter, Mary Jane Kaszubowski;
sons-in-law, John McVeety and John Byelich.
