Arlene Bosma

Arlene Rose Bosma passed on July 29, 2017
surrounded by her loving family at the
Hiland Cottage in Petoskey, MI.

Arlene was born on February 11, 1933
to George and Susie (Hartung) Stark.

She grew up in Pellston and attended Pellston Public School. She met the
love of her life, John Jacob Bosma and was married on September 5, 1952.
They made their home in Pleasantview Township, Harbor Springs, MI
where they raised their 4 sons and ran Bosma Christmas Tree Farm.
Arlene loved to bake, deer hunt, square dance and listen to music. She
even played the piano, harmonica and accordion.

Arlene is survived by:
her husband, John Bosma;
sons, John Jay (Debbic) Bosma, Leslie (Louise) Bosma,
Eugene Bosma and Mathew (Colleen) Bosma;
2 sisters, Viva Bomber and Harriet Redmond;
10 grandchildren;
10 great grandchildren; and
many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Susie;
7 brothers, 3 sisters; and a great granddaughter, Anna May Bosma.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
