Arthur Schlak
1946 - 2020Arthur Carl Schlak age 74 of Johannesburg passed away December 31, 2020 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
He was born November 2, 1946 in Alpena to Carl and Anna (Fuhrman) Schlak.
Art graduated from Rogers City High School in 1964.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Gabrielle; five children; Eric (Jeanne) Schlak, David Schlak, William (Buffy) Schlak, Marilla Somers and Gabriel Milbocker; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Carolyn (Nick) Filipiak and Kay (Neil) Spomer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Anna; and his brother, Paul.
A graveside service and burial will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, April 30th at Peace Lutheran Cemetery with Pastor J. Derek Riddle officiating.
Rogers City VFW Post 607 will offer a military tribute during the graveside service.
