Barbara Wolter

Barbara Mary Wolter age 89 of Alpena passed away August 13, 2020 at Medilodge in Alpena.

She was born December 6, 1930 in Moltke Township to Harold and Pearl (Heath) Henke.

On April 26, 1958 she married Max Wolter in Hillman. She loved playing bingo and bowling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Barbara is survived by two children, Dennis (Carol) Wolter of Riverbank, California and Karen (Ron) Bredow of Hubbard Lake; seven grandchildren, David Wolter, Adrienne (Chad) Homen, Ashleih Wolter, Angela Girard, Jessica Urban, April (Mark) Darst and Melissa Belanger; 14 great grandchildren, James, Sabryna, Ashley, Dustin, Kyle, Maryssa, Alana, Trent, Kristopher, Tony, Michael, Dylan, Logan and Emma; one sister, Gertrude.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max on April 25, 1988; and a grandson, Nick Wolter on December 1, 2013.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 19 th from 12 p.m. through time of her funeral at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Friends Together in Alpena in memory of Barbara Wolter.
