Bernard Ciarkowski

Bernard Frank Ciarkowski age 91 of Posen
passed away January 24, 2016 at
Alpena Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 15, 1924 in Posen
to Stanley and Bernice (Dombrowski) Ciarkowski.

On September 7, 1946 he married Florence Donajkowski at St. Casimir
Catholic Church.
Bernard retired from Stoneport in 1986.
He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6657,
When he wasn’t busy working around the house Bernard enjoyed cutting
brush,

Mr. Ciarkowski is survived by:
his wife, Florence;
daughter, Janis (Bob) Peters of Grayling;
3 grandchildren, Christopher, Darin and Denise;
2 sisters, Bernice (Walter) Kelly of Rogers City and
Verna Kaszubowski of Posen.

He was preceded in death by:
4 sons, Randal, Raymond, Ronald and Patrick;
1 daughter, Lou Ann;
a grandson, Brian;
6 brothers, John, Walter, Casimir, Stanley, Edmund and Frank;
5 sisters, Helen Rempinski, Martha Delekta, Genevieve Woloszyk,
Lucy Donajkowski and Vicky Darga.

Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Wednesday,
January 27th from 10:00 a.m. through time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with
Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Interment will take place at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Casimir Catholic Church
in memory of Bernard Ciarkowski.
