Bernice Krajniak

Bernice Clara Krajniak age 87 of Posen passed away at her daughter’s home on February 25, 2020.

She was born August 21, 1932 in Pulawski Township to Joseph and Bernice (Kapala) Nowicki.

On May 16, 1953 she married Donald Krajniak at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Simply a beautiful soul who touched everyone with her smile, warmth and wit. Forever to be loved and forever to be missed.

Bernice is survived by seven children: Wayne (Debra) Krajniak of Posen, Kurt (Julie) Krajniak of Alpena, Dale (Maria) Krajniak of Grosse Pointe Park, Michael (Elaine) Krajniak of White Pigeon, Joel (Kim) Krajniak of Ortonville, Gordon Krajniak of Keego Harbor and Karen (Mike) Krajniak of Alpena; 15 grandchildren, Shannon, Jessica, Ashley, Kyle, Jarret, Emily, Brandon, Amberly, Alex, Cahil, Keegan, Joshua, Tyler, Lucas and Andrew; ten great grandchildren, Nathan, Riah, Maddison, Knox, Kallum, Brooklyn, Harper, Donny, Henry and George; four sisters, Lucey Paul, Virginia (Art) Smolinski, Florence Wozniak, and Theresa Cendrowski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; four brothers Harry, Dominic, Bernard, and Edmund Nowicki; and one sister, Blanche Hentkowski.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. where the Rosary Sodality will lead the rosary at 6:30 followed by the parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Burial will take place in the spring at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Casimir’s Rosary Sodality or St. Casimir Catholic Church.
