Betty Hughes

Betty Rac Hughes, age 83 of Rogers City
passed away April 30, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical
Center in Alpena,

She was born May 28, 1934 in Princeton, West Virginia
to Jasper and Nellie (Neal) French.

On November 23, 1957 she married Jesse B. Hughes Jr. in Bramwell,
West Virginia, Betty and Jesse moved to Rogers City in 1969, She was a
member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and served as an elder for
many years, Betty enjoyed playing cards, golfing and listening to music.

Mrs. Hughes is survived by:
2 children, Michael David (Anne) Hughes of Spring, Texas and
Robin (Steve) Griwatsch of Rogers City;
3 grandchildren, Jaclyn Raye Hughes, James Michael (Amanda) Hughes
and Lisa Anne (Chris) Lourim; and
2 great grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth and Leah,

Betty was preceded in death by:
her husband Jesse;
brother, Jack and
her sister, Mary Louise Lloyd.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday, May 3rd from
4:00 till 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday at Westminster
Presbyterian Church from 9:00 a.m. through time of funeral at

10:00 a.m. with Reverends Karen and Greg Zurakowski officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery,

Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice
in memory of Betty Hughes.
