Beverly Laur

Beverly Gladys Laur age 85 of Cheboygan
passed away January 7, 2016 at her daughter’s
home in Grant Township.

She was born May 17, 1930 in Empire Township
to Elwin and Mary (Deroshia) Gale.

Beverly enjoyed spending time with friends and family including her
grandchildren and great grandchildren, She enjoyed cooking and was
always up for a friendly game of bingo.

Mrs, Laur is survived by:
10 children, Patricia (Connie) Robydek of Cheboygan,
James (Toni) Muscott of Cheboygan,
David Michael Fowler of Cheboygan,
Jeannie (Michael) Cronk of Cheboygan,
Brenda (Ken) Waltman of Sacramento, California,
Carol (Robert) McRay of Nashville, Tennessee,
Kevin Ray Fowler of Cheboygan,
Karen (Dennis) Craig of Indian River,
James (Carol) Fowler Jr. of Detroit,
and William Fowler of Kalkaska;
60 grandchildren;
Over 60 great grandchildren;
1 great-great granddaughter;
special granddaughter, Melissa Jean Newman;
3 siblings, Marie (Ormie) McClary of Texas,
Darlene (Wayne) Valot of Florida, and
Jean Farkus of Lapeer;
her first husband, Bud Muscott; and
her faithful companion, Muffin the dog;

Beverly was preceded in death by:
husbands, James Fowler and James Laur;
4 sibling, Carol, Dick, Fred,and Carl.

A graveside service will take place Saturday, May 7th, at Pine Hill
Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Mary Veen officiating. A luncheon will
follow at the Eagle’s Club.
