Blanche Emily Centala age 77 of Metz
passed away May 21, 2012 at
Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City

She was born April 16, 1935 in Alpena
to Martin and Dorothy (Darga) Konwinski

Blanche was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, its Choir and the
Rosary Society.

Blanche worked for 17 years at Wayne Wire Cloth in Hillman. She was well known
for her delicious pies and cheesecakes!

Mrs. Centala is survived by:
2 children, Michelle (Andy) Sullivan and Jeffrey “Toby” Kowalski;
2 daughters-in-law, Jackie Kowalski and Lisa Centala;
11 grandchildren, Shawn Kowalski, Scott (Tina) Kowalski, Scott Richards,
Kelly (Justin) Hein, Joe Kowalski,
Jessica (Aaron) Sullivan Gougeon, Nicholas Centala,
Mathew Sullivan, Ethan Nida, MaKayla Centala, and Seth Nida;
8 great grandchildren, Cheyanne Witulski, Adam Hein, Madason Kowalski,
Grace Richards, Cody Richards, Emily Hein,
Aubrey Kowalski, Aiden Kowalski, and Waylan Kowalski;
brother, Aloysius “Al” (Eileen) Darga;
sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Konwinski;

She was preceded in death by:
first husband, Eugene Kowalski;
2nd husband, Florian Centala;
2 sons, Paul Centala and Kenneth Kowalski;
great grandson, Dakota Kowalski;
brother, Donald Konwinski;
parents, Dorothy and Martin

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
with parish wake service at 6:00 followed by the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will
resume on Wednesday at St. Dominic Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until time
of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz and Sr. Rita Epple conducting.

Burial will take place at St. Dominic Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Dominic Catholic Church or
Alzheimer’s Research in loving memory of Blanche Centala,
