passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at

courageous eight-month battle with esophageal
cancer.
Brad was born on August 8, 1959 in Cheboygan

On May 1, 2017, Brad married the love of his life, Michelle Blagrove.
Brad graduated from Cheboygan Area High School in 1977,
Known to all in the community as “The Shell Guy”, Brad found much joy
when he was working at Louie’s Fresh Market, pumping gas for each of
his customers while delivering a smile and a bit of laughter. He rarely
knew anyone by name, but everyone knew Brad.
From the children and puppy dogs, who looked
forward to a special treat, to the lady customers
who anticipated his annual box of Valentine
chocolates. Kind, generous, witty and funny
were just a few of Brad’s special attributes, He
was a perfectionist at heart in all he did. He
was a master carpet installer and, like his
father, his workmanship was meticulous. He
took great pride in his finished product and
loved to see the delight on his customers’ faces.
Brad was a Mr. Fix-It and was always willing to help others, In his
younger years, he loved shooting pool and was quite the pool shark. Also
an avid Nascar fan, #24 Jeff Gordon, was his favorite. All who knew him,
loved him, He will be greatly missed.
