Brent Koel

Brent Koel age 46 of Presque Isle,
passed away at home unexpectedly on January 4, 2014.

He was born August 19, 1968 in Tomah, Wisconsin ,
to John and Helen (Seeman) Koel.

Brent graduated from Tomah High School in 1986. He served in the
United States Navy from June of 1986 until April of 1996, Brent was
employed by Omni Metalcraft as a Supply Chain Manager. Mr. Koel
served as an EMT and Firefighter for the East Grand Lake Fire
Department and as Presque Isle Township Supervisor since 2012, Brent
was a huge Packer Backer and Wisconsin Badger fan, enjoyed hunting,
fishing, mushrooming, spending time with his children and grandchildren

and most of all, living each day with his wife and best friend Beth, whom
he married on July 14, 2007.

Brent is survived by:
his loving wife, Beth;
6 children, Cassie (Brandon Cook) Bruning, Megan (Randy) Brege,
Tricia (Isaac Kowalski) Kamyszek, Colleen (Reid) Radford,
Hannah Jeudevine, and Landon (Jennifer) Jeudevine.
He was papa Brent to Malia, Allie, Carly, Bethany, Bradley, Henry,
Landon, Tyler, Elissa, and Jaxon;
mother, Helen Koel,
siblings, Dan (Cindy) Koel, Sue Koel, and Pam Pierce;
in-laws, Harry and Pat Walter Lynne (Lish) Budnik and
Barry (Dawn) Walter.

He was preceded in death by:
his dad, John “Jack” Koel and brother, Bob.

Memorial Visitation will take place at the Beck Funeral Home on
Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m, Visitation will resume on Friday at
the Grand Lake Community Chapel from 10:00 a.m. through time of
service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Robert Case officiating. Posen VFW
will accord full Military Honors followed by Final Roll Call conducted
by the East Grand Lake Fire Department, United States Navy will
facilitate burial at sea in the Atlantic Ocean,

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Brent’s family for a charity
to be chosen later.
