Bruce Eldridge

Bruce Owen Eldridge age 76 of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2024.

He was born in Alpena on September 28, 1948 to Gerald and Christena (Freel) Eldridge.

Bruce graduated from Onaway High School in 1967. On April 6, 1968, he married Sue Lynn Amacher at St. John Lutheran Church. He worked at Proctor and Gamble from 1967 until his retirement in 1998. Bruce worked for the United State Fish and Wildlife Department at Hammond Bay until he retired in 2016.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sue; two children, Loren (Arlene) Eldridge of Missouri and Nicole Eldridge of Illinois; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Christena; a son, Brian Bruce; and two brothers, Clayton “Chum” (Mary) and an infant brother.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26th from 2-4 p.m.

Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Millersburg at a later date.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Research.
