Carl McRae

Carl Franklin “Bud” McRae age 90 of Cheboygan passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on December 24, 2024.

He was born in Cheboygan to Carl and Marian (McLeod) McRae on December 21, 1934.

Bud is survived by his children, Carl (Rita) McRae of Holt, Carrine (Jerome) Haverland of Tennessee, Marybeth McRae of Tennessee and Leslie McRae of Florida; grandchildren, Cimmaron, Jeff, Cameron, Peyton, Kyleyah and Kyrese; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Deaver of California.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Mazurek; a grandson, Daniel Watt; and two sisters, Maurine Pruitt and Peg Berger.

Bud was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors and shooting firearms.
