Carol Dout

Carol Lynn Dout age 78 of Redford Township
passed away peacefully on October 15, 2016
at her family’s cottage on Mullett Lake.

She was born July 4, 1938 in Detroit
to Carl and Grace (Kirchoff) Brandt.

Carol graduated from Edsel Ford High School in 1957, On September 20,
1958 she married Richard Dout at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Detroit.
She and Richard owned the Lobby Shoppe in the Detroit School Center
Building for many years. Carol enjoyed reading and spending time with
her family,

Mrs. Dout is survived by:
2 daughters, Susan (Gary) Dyke of Traverse City and
Anne Dout of Dearborn Heights;
2 grandsons, Alexander Dyke and Andrew Dyke;
as well as 3 sisters, Catherine O’Connor of Greenbush,
Mary Brandt of Dearborn and
Christine Viets of Sidney, Montana,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard on November 6, 2012.
A memorial gathering will take place at the RG & GR Harris Funeral Home,
15451 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154, on Sunday,
November 20, 2016, from 3:00 p.m, until 8:00 p.m,

Carol will be buried with her husband Richard at Great Lakes National
Cemetery in Holly on Monday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m,
