Carol Faner

Carol Lynn (Knapp) Faner age 66
passed away at home on May 22, 2016.

She was born February 3, 1950 in Ann Arbor
to Robert and Ruthann (James) Knapp.

Carol graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School 1968. Following
high school she pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree at Eastern
Michigan University class of 1972. Carol later graduated from Wayne
StateUniversity’s Dietetics’ program, pursuing a career as a Registered
Dietitian, Carol was active in her faith, belonging to Woods Presbyterian
Church and later Grosse Pointe Memorial Church.

Mrs. Faner is survived by:
her husband, Thomas of Ocqucoc;
3 children, Aimee (Chris) Seguin of Windsor, Ontario,
Todd (Mattie) Faner of Grosse Pointe Woods, and
Kyle Faner of Marquette;
4 grandchildren; and
3 siblings, Margaret Huffaker, Jim Knapp, and Alice Gaujanian,

Carol was preceded in death by:
her father, Robert H. Knapp Sr;
mother, Ruthann Knapp; and
a brother, Dr. Robert H. Knapp.

Immediate family will celebrate a memorial of her life at a future date.

Interment has taken place at the Ocqueoc Township Cemetery.
