Carol Peet

Carol G. Peet age 90 of Cheboygan
passed away October 20, 2011 at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital

She was born April 16, 1921 in Cheboygan
to Charles and Ruth (France) Galbraith

Carol graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1939. On April 5, 1941 she
married Max Minor Peet Jr. in Ohio, The Peet family lived in Ann Arbor for

40 years. After her retirement in 1981, she moved back to Cheboygan. Mrs. Peet was
active with Cheboygan Golf & Country Club and Cheboygan Memorial Hospital
Auxiliary and she was an avid Bridge player.

Mrs, Peet is survived by:
2 daughters, Judith (Robert) Preston of Grosse Pointe Woods and
Linda Bedell of Cheboygan;
6 grandchildren;
9 great grandchildren and 1 on the way;
1 brother, Edward (Marie) Galbraith of Colorado,

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Max Minor Peet Jr.
and a brother, James Galbraith.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12th at
St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 332 Western Av. with Pastor Budd Wagner officiating.
