Carolyn Lung

Carolyn Faye Lung, age 81 of Millersburg, passed away unexpectedly at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on June 19, 2026.

She was born to Melvin and Margaret (Robbins) Walker on August 13, 1944, in Rogers City, Michigan.

Carolyn graduated from Onaway High School and on June 6, 1963 she married Louis (Louie) Herbert Lung.

She loved to take her sons camping and traveling. She was always available for her family, whether it be a phone call or by visit. She enjoyed visiting and always had a smile.

Surviving Carolyn are her sons Louie (Julie) Lung and Scott (Amanda) Lung; grandchildren Heather Lung (Kevin Pomeroy), Jeremy Lung, Sierra (Steven) Verduce, and Sahrae Lung; great grandchildren, Hunter Lung, Amiyah Pomeroy, Harper and Hollis Verduce; as well as her sister-in-law, Ruby Walker, and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Margaret (Robbins) Walker, husband, Louis “Louie” Herbert Lung, brothers Morris, Melvin A. Jr. “Tone,” Ralph Walker, and sister, Marjorie “Marge” (Walker) Gertz, and great grandchild Walker Pomeroy.

A graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Millersburg on Saturday, June 27th at 2 p.m.
