Carolina “Carolyn” Nichols

Carolyn Anne Nichols, Age 100 passed away peacefully in Cheboygan at Harmony House on August 2, 2025.

She was born on September 14, 1924 in Camillus, New York to Luigi Curto and Maria Gabrielle-Crib.

She married Joseph E Nichols of Cheboygan and they shared 76 years together before his death in 2020. Carolyn enjoyed, cross country skiing, playing golf, watching the Detroit Lions and working in her yard. Carolyn and Joe spent their winters in Hernando, Florida and summers between Cheboygan and Boblo Island.

She is survived by her daughter Anne Marie Farrell of Cheboygan and her son Duane (Karen) of Ocala, Florida, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband and sister Jean.

Carolyn will always be remembered by her infectious laugh.

Per her wishes Beck Funeral Home has assisted with cremation and no services are planned at this time.
