Cathy McCallum

Mary Catherine “Cathy” McCallum age 85 of Manitou Beach passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2024.

She was born in Detroit to Massimo and Johanna (Giordano) Marta on April 27, 1939.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Robert; two sons, Rob and Scott;  two grandchildren, Morgan and Nathaniel; and a cousin, Nika Fragola.

The 40 Mile Point Lighthouse Society will host an open house at the lighthouse on Monday, September 16th from 1-3 p.m. in honor of Cathy who has been a longtime friend of the lighthouse. Please come and share a memory or two and enjoy a cup of coffee and cookies with Cathy’s family.

Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be given to the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse in memory of Mary Catherine McCallum.
