Charlene Munn

Charlene Ann Munn, 76, of Rogers City
passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2013.

She was born in Rogers City on July 12, 1936. She completed most of her schooling
in R.C., graduated from Pellston High School in 1954 with further studies at
Bethel Womens’ College in Indiana where she played womens’ basketball.

Charlene was employed at a number of different businesses in the area including the
Gencral Telephone Company and was on shift, operating the switchboard, the
afternoon the Carl D. Bradley sank.

On June 29, 1967, she married Lynn J. Munn in Flint, Michigan and made their life
long home in Rogers City.

She played on the P.I. county womens’ softball league, enjoyed camping, fishing,
playing a daily game of cribbage with her husband, reading and spending time with
her grandchildren.

Charlene is survived by:
her husband of 46 years, Lynn;
two sons, Mark (Natalie) of Rogers City and Chris (Lisa) of Rochester, Minnesota;
two grandchildren, Ashley Munn and Zachary Munn both of Rogers City;
siblings, James (Kay) Lounsberry of Burton, Neil Lounsberry of Rogers City and
Linda Oller of Swartz Creek and
many nieces and nephews.

Charlene was preceded in death by:
her sister, Mary Lee Werner and
brother, Wesley Lounsberry.
Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Beck Funeral Home.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
