Cheryl Bursey

Cheryl G. Bursey age 69 of Ocqueoc passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 26, 2020.

She was born October 1, 1950 in Pontiac to Robert and Wanda (Kelley) McCallum.

On July 13, 1968 she married James Bursey in Pontiac. They moved to Millersburg in 1970. Cheryl retired from Cadillac Products after 17 years of employment. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids. She loved planting flowers with her grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to the beach, resale shopping, vacuuming, mowing the lawn, horses, mending fences and tending to the family farm  and watching her daughter compete in horse shows.

Cheryl was survived by her husband, James Sr.; five children, James (Danielle) Bursey Jr. of Indian River, Renee (Jamie) Szymanski of Millersburg, Shanna Bursey of Florida, Heidi (Cory) Davis of Rogers City and Amanda (Tom) Brewbaker of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Stormi Raine Whitley and Jarred Bursey; three siblings, Linda, Ronnie and Karen; and her four-legged friends, Molly and Vera.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeff; her parents, Robert and Wanda and a brother, Rick.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, October 2^nd from 4 p.m. through time of the memorial service at 5:00 p.m. to remember Cheryl and Jim.
