Clara Krueger

1915 - 2011

Clara D. Krueger 95, of Mt. Morris, formerly of Rogers City,
passed away July 15, 2011 at McLaren Medical Center in Flint.

She was born December 18, 1915 in Belknap
to William and Clara (Wirgau) Kreft.

Being raised on the Belknap farm, without bus transportation, her education was cut
short. As a homemaker she raised four daughters and later turned her attention
toward continuing her education. She carned her high school diploma from
Mt. Morris High School. She then attended Mott Junior College in Flint and
graduated with an associate degree in general studies at age 79. She was very proud
of her educational accomplishments.

She worked for a Zesto Ice Cream shop for about 25 years. She loved her vegetable
and flower gardens and always looked forward to making the annual trip to
Rogers City to spend time with her daughters and family taking in all the festivities
of the Nautical Festival. As a loving mother, she will be greatly missed by all.

Mrs. Krueger is survived by:
three daughters, Janet (Dennis) Przybyla of Fort Wayne, Indiana,
Sally (Gary) Emerick of Swartz Creek and
Joyce (Vance) Burrows of Onaway;
17 grandchildren;
29 great-grandchildren;
1] great-great-grandchildren; and
two sisters, Elna (George-deceased) Glosser of Rogers City and
Lorinda (Hardy-deceased) Brandt of Hillman.

She was preceded in death by:
a daughter, Violet Stoinski;
sisters, Tracey (Charles) Ohrich, Irene (Lenard) Bredow, Laura (John) Zemple and
Gertrude Kreft; and
a brother, Curt (Edith) Kreft.

Friends may visit at St. John Lutheran Church on Friday from 11 a.m. through time of
funeral at 1 p.m. with the Rev. John Schreiber officiating.

Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.
