Clara Mayes

Clara E. Mayes age 90 of Holton, formerly of Rogers City,
passed away into the loving arms of God on August 13, 2008 at
her son’s hom in Holton.

She was born May 22, 1918 in Posen to Anton and Anna (Kandow) Fremont

On January 23, 1943 Clara E. Haske married Stephen Mayes
at St. Casimir Church in Posen.

She is survived by:
son, John (Rosey) Mayes of Holton
daughter, Elizabeth Thomas of Lansing
4 grandchildren, Steven Mayes, Paul (Maribel) Thomas, Lori Miller,
Deborah Thomas
4 great grandchildren, Onya, Jude, Isabelle, and Samuel
1 sister in law, Martha Adams of Troy
many nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by:
husband Stephen in 1998
5 brothers and
4 sisters

Fr. Charles Donajkowski will conduct her memorial mass at
St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Saturday, August 30th at 10:00 a.m..
Friends may gather at church after 9:00 a.m.

Interment will take place in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery
