Clara Margaret Modrzynski age 90 of Rogers City.
passed away August 2, 2012 at
Tendercare Health Center of Rogers City

She was born December 24, 1921 in Rogers City Me 4 Pe
to Anthony and Agnes (Yarch) Mulka

On October 24, 1945 she married Edward “Bazz” Modrzynski in Texas.
Bazz and Clara opened the Cozy Corner Restaurant in Rogers City in 1947, which
was later renamed the Roostertail Restaurant. They retired in 1997,
Mrs. Modrzynski was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and its rosary

She is survived by:
her children, Brent (Kathy) of Tennessee and
Mary Margaret (Wesley) Bruning of Hawks;
3 grandchildren, Scott Coley, Josh (Rebecca) Modrzynski, and Katrina Bruning;
2 great granddaughters, Caitlinn Coley and Addeline Clair Modrzynski;
siblings, Wallace Mulka, Margaret Gordon, Betty Vogelhcim, and
Donald (Virginia) Mulka.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bazz.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
where the Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 6:30 followed by the parish prayer
service at 7:00 p.m. with Sr. Rita Epple conducting.
Visitation will resume at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 a.m.
through time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. James Fitzpatrick officiating.

Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Ignatius Catholic Church
in memory of Clara Modrzynski.
