Clarence F. Purol age 90 of Posen
passed away at his home on his 68th wedding anniversary,
June 21, 2009.

He was born March 26, 1919 in Posen
to Leon and Constance (Nowaczewski) Purol

On June 21, 1941 Clarence married Julia Boyk at St. Casimir Catholic Church.
Mr. Purol was a farmer, country veterinarian, physical tester who retired from
Presque Isle Corporation, and a member of the New Crew Band. He loved music,
playing cards, Detroit Tiger Baseball, trapping, and hunting.

He is survived by:
wife, Julia
4 daughters, Elaine (Clements) Misiak of Posen, Barbara (Dan) McDougall of Alpena,
Delphine (Clarence) Bisson of Presque Isle, and Patricia (Kevin) Loubert of Watford,
Ontario.
5 sons David (Laura) of Holt, James (Marie) of Posen, Joseph (Sandra) of Alpena,
Thomas of Alpena, and Bernard (Patricia) of Alpena
23 grandchildren,
7 great grandchildren
4 sisters, Eleanor Spisak, Theresa Swan, Frances Smith, and Rose (Wayne) Bruning

Mr. Purol was preceded in death by:
son, Florian,
sister, Martha Pieczynski,
7 brothers, Anthony, Louis, Theodore, Dominic, John, Edward, and Florian

Friends may visit at the Beck Funcral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.
where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 followed by the parish wake service at
7:00 p.m.. Visitation will resume at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Wednesday from
10:00 a.m. until time of mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Clarence Smolinski officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery

Memorials may be given to Posen First Responders or a charity of your choice.
