Connie Rohrer
1955 - 2021Connie Sue Rohrer age 65 of Alanson passed away August 2, 2021 at McLaren Northern Michigan – Petoskey.
She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She was born November 3, 1955 in Petoskey to Jack and Bonnie (Lewis) Wenz.
Connie graduated from Petoskey High School in 1973. She attended North Central College in Petoskey. On August 7, 1982, she married the love of her life Wallace Rohrer at his parents’ home in Alanson MI. In February 2020, she retired, so she could dedicate the time with her grandbabies. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, baseball, riding on the back of Jerrys motorcycle, camping, spending time at the beach, rocking hunting, hitting the trails on the side-by-side and spending time her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Wallace “Jerry”; two children, Angela “Niki” Silva of Pellston and Wallace Jacob Rohrer of Alanson; three grandchildren, Wallace, Emma and Madelyn; siblings, Jack (Heidi) Wenz, Linda Meyers and Tom Meyers; she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Wenz and Bonnie Meyers; a sister, Niki.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 6th, at 11 a.m. at Littlefield Township Cemetery with Corps Sergeant Major Roman Hank officiating.
