Daniel Fitch

Daniel Everett Fitch age 76 of Alpena passed away at MyMichigan Health Center in Saginaw on March 25, 2026.

He was born in Prescott, Arizona on July 16, 1949 to Everett and Alice (Corley) Fitch Jr.

On October 8, 1988 he married Elizabeth Mosier in Dayton, Ohio. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1993 then spent the next several years working for NASA. In 2024 he and Liz moved to Hillman and then relocated to Alpena.

Mr. Fitch is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two sons, Darren (Sherri) Fitch and Michael Fitch all of Sacramento, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Alice and a sister, Marlene.

Honors and interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.

Memorials may be given to Temple Beth El in Alpena.
