Daniel Arthur Pilarski age 67 of Rogers City passed away peacefully at Medilodge in Rogers City on Thursday, September 26, 2024 after battling lengthy health issues.

He was born in Rogers City to Clarence and Adelia {Brege} Pilarski on January 16, 1957.

Dan graduated from Rogers City High School in 1975. He retired after 41 years of service as a dedicated employee from A-P Super Service. Dan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad, family and friends and leaves that legacy behind with his nephews. He also enjoyed being on a bowling league and spending time watching his favorite Detroit sport teams. In his leisure time Dan enjoyed visiting with friends and family around a campfire and sharing fishing stories at the boat harbor.

He is survived by two brothers, Steve {Rochelle Gross} and Mark {Amy Wenzel} from Traverse City as well as nieces and nephews, Ashley {Dante} Valentino, Josh { Elisa} Ethan { Hallie} Jesse {Stephanie}, Phoenix and Zachary Pilarski; He is also survived by a great nephew, Cruz and great niece, Sage Valentino.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Adelia and an infant brother, Randall.

Dan’s kind hearted spirit and gentle soul will be truly missed by all.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday October 2^nd from 2p.m through time of his funeral at 3p.m.

Burial will take place in the family plot at Memorial Park Cemetery.
