Daniel Szymanski

Daniel Anthony Szymanski age 70 of Ossineke passed away at home on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

He was born in Alpena on March 23, 1954 to Clarence and June (Gorski) Szymanski.

Dan graduated from Alpena High School in 1972. On February 9, 1973 he married Cynthia LaCross in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Dan retired from his career as a heavy equipment operator in 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy; three sons, Michael (Jennifer) of Alpena, Matthew of Alpena and Mark (Sara) of Oscoda; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Luke; three brothers, Jim (Kristin), Bill (Vicki) and Bob (Pat); and one sister, Jane Jones.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and June; and a brother, Tom.

Friends may visit at the Community of Christ Church in Lachine on Saturday, December 21st from 10 a.m. through time of his memorial service at 11 a.m. with Mr. Kendell Sumerix officiating. A luncheon will follow.
