Darla Erke

Darla June Erke age 79 of Rogers City passed away at Medilodge in Rogers City on May 8, 2024.

She was born March 28, 1945 in Alpena to Edward and June (Wright) Amacher.

On May 30, 1970 she married Allan Erke at St. John Lutheran Church in Hagensville.

Darla is survived by six children, Roxanne Lewis, Steve (Amy) Erke, Holly (Harry) Guenterberg, Robert (Patricia) Erke, Jayla (Kevin) Vekaryasz, and Julie (Joseph) Strokirch; 16 grandchildren, Vanessa, Kamali, David, Michael, Adam, Immanuel, Joshua, Lindsey, James, Halle, Hannah, Phoenix, Christopher, Logan, John and Allan; many great grandchildren; and three sisters, Sue (Bruce) Eldridge, Janice (Terry) Bisson and Jane (Randall) Zempel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan; a grandson, Harrison Guenterberg; and her parents.

A graveside service will take place at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Hagensville at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17th.
