Darlene Bade

Darlene A. Bade, age 73 of Rogers City,
lost her battle with cancer at home on May 17, 2014.

She was born May 15, 1941 in Moltke Township
to Edward and Bertha (Wolgast) Felax,

On October 16, 1960 she married Samuel Treadwell Jr. He passed on
January 1, 1974, On May 22, 1980 she married Donald Bade, Darlene
was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Moltke, the Ladies
Auxiliary of the Rogers City VFW Post 607, and the Rogers City
Servicemen’s Club, She worked at the Radio Tavern for several years
and then at the Rogers City Hospital, Darlene enjoyed tending to her
flowers, her cats, and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Bade is survived by:
her loving husband of 34 years, Donald;
daughter, Kathy (David) Hilla of Muskegon;
two grandsons, Samuel and Kristopher Hilla;
devoted sister-in-law, Linda Felax, and
many loving nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by:
a brother, Ronald “Fuzzy” Felax and sister Caryl Lee Boyke.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday starting at
3:00 p.m, Rogers City VFW Ladies Auxiliary will offer a tribute at
5:00 p.m. followed by her funeral service conducted by Pastor Eric Voigt.

Inurnment will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
Hospice of the Sunrise Shore.
