David Chojnacki
1934 - 2014In loving memory of very special man; David Chojnacki,
known as Dave to his loving wife, Jaja to his
grandchildren, Dad to his children, and Silver Fox
to his friends, has left us to go to his heavenly home.
David Stanislaus Chojnacki, age 79 passed away on October 14, 2014.
He was born October 20, 1934 in Metz
to Anthony and Clara (Gorlewski) Pine.
Mr. Chojnacki is survived by:
his wife of 58 years, Cecilia,
6 sons, Kevin (Marie) of Rogers City, Roger (Pam) of Charlevoix,
Charlie (Linda) of Fowlerville, Duane (Amy), Terry (Kim) of Posen,
and Chris (Mary) of Posen;
1 daughter, Joyce Chojnacki of Grand Lake;
10 grandchildren, Sarah (Steve) Pirie, Jeremy, Caleb, Rachel, Erika,
Brandi, Brady, Taylor, Arianne, and Kayla;
7 brothers, John, Mick, Paul, Ben, Art, Joe, and Albert;
3 sisters, Marian Urban, Dolores Bruski, and Irene Kowalski.
Dave was preceded in death by:
2 sons, Gerald and Kenneth;
parents, Anthony and Clara;
sister, Virginia Roznowski;
brother, Raymond.
David married Cecilia Kamyszek on April 7, 1956. He loved spending time
with his family at Camp Why-not-ski making lasting memories for his
wife, children, and grandchildren; working on his farm; hunting and
fishing. Dave served his country in the United States Army; he was a
member of the Knights of Columbus and an usher at St. Casimir Church.
Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Monday, October 20th
from 10:00 a.m, through time of Mass at 11:00 a.m, with
Fr, Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.
Posen VFW will accord military honors following Mass.
In lieu of flowers, family would like donations made to
Hospice of Michigan in memory of David Chojnacki,
Inurnment will take place next to his sons at
St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.
