David Vekaryasz

David Paul Vekaryasz age 77 of Rogers City passed away in Midland on November 11, 2022.

He was born in Rogers City on February 6, 1945 to Stephen and Myrtle (Wisterman) Vekaryasz.

Dave is survived by two children Kevin (Jayla) Vekaryasz of Rogers City and Kari (Elmer Jr.) Schleben of Hawks; four grandchildren, Naomi, Leena, Austin and Logan and a sister-in-law, Kathryn Vekaryasz.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Vekaryasz and Walter (Audrey) Vekaryasz.

Dave served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Rogers City VFW Post 607 and a member of the Rogers City Servicemen’s Club.

A celebration of life will take place at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 22^nd from 6 p.m. through time of his service at 7 p.m. where the Rogers City VFW Post 607 will accord military honors followed by a meal and time of sharing memories.
