Delbert Reed

Delbert James “Jim” Reed age 73 of Rogers City
passed away December 14, 2011, at home

Jim was born November 13, 1938 in Canton, Ohio
to Delbert and Arlene (Beck) Reed

On September 16, 1966 he married Ila Priest Wingo in Hagensville, Maryland.
He retired as a Captain with the Great Lakes fleet after 35 years with U.S. Steel.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grand kids. He also
enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Mr. Reed is survived by:
his wife, Ila;
his sons, Scott (Amanda) Reed of Owosso, Jimmy Reed of Marquette, and
William Wingo of Hillman;
his daughters, Wanda Wingo Tolin of Alpena, and
Janice Wingo Green of Hot Springs, South Dakota;
4 brothers;
2 sisters;
mother, Arlene Rodman;
11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Hugh Wingo, Jr. and Carl Reed.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. through
time of funeral at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor David Rogers officiating.

Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery
