Dennis Schultz

Dennis Marvin Schultz age 69 of Metz.
passed away July 29, 2012 at home.

He was born February 12, 1943 in Van Dyke, Michigan
to Arnold and Alice (Bahrke) Schultz

On May 1, 1965 Dennis married Virginia Clara Kerr. He retired from Calcite in 2002.
Mr. Schultz was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church and the NRA. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing softball and spitzer.

Dennis is survived by:
his wife, Virginia “Ginny”;
three children, Melissa (George) Tatro of Grawn, Dennis (Pat) of North Carolina,
and Tim (Don Gerstler) of Birmingham;
6 grandchildren, Naomi Tatro, Brittany Schultz, Heather Schultz, Joshua Schultz,
Sofia Gerstler, and Gabriel Gerstler;
mother, Alice Schultz;
3 brothers, Duane (Sharon), Dale (Pat), and Daryl (Diane);
1 sister, Diane (Dan) Chamberlin.

He was preceded in death by:
his father, Arnold and
brother, Darwin.

Friends may visit at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Belknap on Saturday, August 4th
from 1:00 p.m. through time of his memorial service at 2:30 p.m. with
Pastor Paul Hopkins officiating.

Luncheon and sharing memories will take place in the school gym following the
graveside service at St. Michael Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alpena Cancer Center
or the family of Dennis Schultz.
