Diane Grover

Diane Marie Grover, 76, of Ferndale, passed away August 12, 2026, in Royal Oak.

She was born in Rogers City to Leo and Cecilia Darga on June 1, 1950. Diane lived a life equal parts laughter, fierce love, and steady faith.

A devoted mother and the beloved “fun aunt,” Diane was known for her quick wit, dark humor, and generous spirit. She prayed the rosary nearly every evening and found comfort in her faith while filling every room with color and mischief. Diane loved music, good conversation, and making people feel seen.

She was a member of St. James Parish in Ferndale until it closed and later joined St. Mark Parish in Warren. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, William Grover, and her parents, Leo and Cecilia Darga.

Diane is survived by her children, Aaron Baker, Catherine (Tom) Rezabeck, and Nathan (Kati) Baker; her grandchildren, Sophia, Alexandra, Aidan, Emma, Lincoln, Loie, and Cecily; and her siblings, Larry (Dianne) Darga, Barbara (Marty) Beaudin, Jeff Darga, and Bev (Ed) Lalonde. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her laughter and fierce loyalty.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Beck Funeral Home, Rogers City, on Sunday, September 6th at 2:00 p.m.
