Dolores Brege

Dolores May Brege, age 94, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024.

She was born on May 26, 1929, the daughter of Lenora and Erwin Hein. She grew up with a wealth of aunts and uncles and family was always the main focus of her life.

She married Norman John Brege on September 18, 1948, and they made their home in Moltke, where each had grown up.

Aside from her love of family and home, gardening was her skill and passion. She created beautiful flower beds and her home always had freshly-cut flower arrangements in season.

Dolores was a life-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Moltke. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader, enjoyed the news and current events. What is imprinted on her family is the fierceness with which she loved those close to her. Her legacy is a life well-lived, with caring, creativity, and devotion to what is right and good.

She is survived by daughters, Maureen Charbonneau and Christine Brege, son, Gary Brege, and grandson, Marc Brege Charbonneau. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Brege, and parents, Lenora and Erwin Hein.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Monday, May 20^th from 1 p.m. through time of her memorial service at 2 p.m.

Dolores Brege will be laid to rest in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Moltke cemetery immediately following the memorial service.

The family is very grateful for the loving care and support Dolores received at The Brook of Rogers City and from Hospice of Michigan.

Donations in honor of Dolores may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Moltke or Hospice of Michigan.
