Donald Beck

Donald Kenneth Beck age 90 of Canada Creek Ranch passed away August 3, 2025.

He was born in Pontiac on August 2, 1935 to Donald and Maud (Pressland) Beck.

Don served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired as a Sergeant from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department in 1993. He and his wife moved to their home at Canada Creek Ranch in 1995. Don was an active sportsman who enjoyed boating, fishing and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed piloting his own airplane. Don was a member and a Deacon at the Community of Christ Church in Onaway.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Donald Beck, Dwain Beck, Deborah (Tony) Medina, Douglas (Ruth Ellen Burns) Beck, Derek (Jeanine Taylor) Beck, Carissa (Paul) Luch, Corrie Lindenfelser and Jason (Elaine) Holland; 13 grandchildren; a couple of great grandchildren; and two sisters, Diane (Dave) Potts and Dorothy (Terry) Davis.

Don was preceded in death by two brothers, Deryl Beck and David Beck.

A celebration of his life will take place at the Community of Christ Church in Onaway at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16th.
