Donald Morrison

Donald Carl Morrison age 87 of Rogers City
passed away August 15, 2016 at MidMichigan
Health Center.

He was born March 2, 1929 in Rogers City
to Lawrence and Marie (Curtis) Morrison.

On May 10, 1952 he married Shirley Dove at Trinity Episcopal Church
in Alpena. Don retired as manager of the laundry department at the
Rogers City Hospital, He enjoyed spending time with his family while
hunting, fishing, gardening, and overnights at his camp.

Mr. Morrison is survived by:
2 children, Donna (Ralph) Karsten of Moltke Township and
Richard (Sandy) Morrison of Washington, Pennsylvania;
7 grandchildren, Wayne (fiancée, Ruth Grulke) Karsten,
Brad (Samantha) Karsten,
Scott (Heather Harner) Karsten, Jeremy (Erin) Karsten,
Craig Karsten, Jessica (Todd) Carter and
Kile (Amy Savage) Wirgau;
9 great grandchildren, Jacob Karsten, Madison Karsten, Tyler Karsten,
Peyton Karsten, Parker Karsten, Else Carter,
Easton Carter, Alison Wirgau and Jackson Wirgau;
sister, Ruby (Jim) Flewelling; and
his brother, Dale (Peggy) Morrison.

Don was preceded in death by:
his wife, Shirley and
parents, Lawrence and Marie and
2 brothers, Larry “Spike” and LeRoy “Buck”.

Friends may visit at the St. John Lutheran Church on Friday from
10:00 a.m, through time of his funeral at 11:00 a.m. with
Pastor Eric Voigt officiating,

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to: St. John Radio Fund
or a charity of your choice.
